Through a mutual love of music and friendship, Shelby and Ariel made their dream a reality as sophomores in high school by creating "Recipe of Life". What started out with just posting covers and original songs to a Youtube channel quickly morphed into a folk duo like you’ve never heard before. In 2013, with the help of their dedicated and supportive fanbase, they were able to raise enough money through the fundraising platform, Indiegogo, to record and release an EP, Simplicity, as well as a full length album, The Secret Ingredient. After going on thier first tour this past August, they are currently in the works of recording a new EP! They also plan on touring this summer 2016!
